24 hour crisis intervention, legal & medical advocacy, information and referral for victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse. Our advocates respond to the hospital anytime of day to support adult and child victims of sexual assault, and ensure their rights and interests are upheld at the hospital. Our services are free, confidential, and open to everybody without discrimination.

SAFeT also provides free community education on topics related to sexual assault, such as child sexual abuse, sexual assault prevention, media dynamics, and appropriate ways of responding to and supporting of victims. Our free trainings are appropriate for schools, organizations, churchs, clubs, and businesses.

Crime Victim Service Center is a very new service in Washington. 1 in 6 people in Spokane have experienced crime, which can disrupt people's lives in many ways. Spokane Crime Victim Service Center provides 24 hour crisis intervention, legal & medical advocacy, and information and referral for victims of crime. Our advocates can respond to the hospital for violent crime and provide information regarding specific crimes. Our advocates are highly trained in victim response and community resources. Spokane Crime Victim Service Center is free, confidential, and available to everybody without discrimination.

Spokane Crime Victim Service Center also provides free community education on community safety and crime prevention. Our topics include hate crime dynamics, identity theft safety and recognizing elder abuse. Our free trainings are appropriate for schools, organizations, churchs, clubs, and businesses.

The Crisis Residential Center has provided shelter and counseling services for local homeless, runaway, and at-risk teens since the doors opened in the mid-1970s. Over the course of 30 years, the CRC has helped thousands of local teens and their families. Whether the teen is a runaway; or the family is homeless; or there is so much conflict at home that the teen is temporarily safer somewhere else, CRC staff work with each teen, each family and each situation to end the conflict and find a safe and healthy solution that all family members can live with.

First Call For Help is a part of Spokane Mental Health’s Crisis Response Services. Trained and professionally supervised volunteers and Spokane Mental Health's professional staff, provide telephone crisis intervention, information, assistance, referral, supportive listening and refer individuals to services and to other community resources. First Call For Help also serves as the first level of response for all calls occurring after the regular hours of operation of many community providers.

The Domestic Violence Help Line, which is staffed around the clock by qualified counselors, furnishes crisis intervention, counseling, referral to vital community resources, and, when necessary, arrangement of free transportation to the Confidential Safe Shelter. Located at the YWCA, the Counseling Center offers support groups in order to provide opportunities for domestic violence victims to interact and discuss experiences and feelings in a safe, caring environment. Individual counseling, also provided at the center, enables victims to discuss safety planning, learn about patterns of abusive behavior, receive referrals to secure basic needs, and share difficult feelings with a supportive counselor.
