Hudson’s Hamburgers has been a Coeur d’Alene institution since 1907 when Harley Hudson opened a quick-eats lunch tent on the town’s main drag. Today, Harley’s great-grandson is carrying on the family tradition.
Hudson's is a counter-only diner that serves hamburgers, double hamburgers and double cheeseburgers – that's all, except pie! When you order your burger, the counter man will ask, "Pickle and onion?” and then you'll watch as they fry up your order right in front of you. Meals average $5 each.
