Applebee's was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, by Bill and T.J. Palmer. The Palmers envisioned a restaurant that would provide full service, consistently good food, reasonable prices and quality service in a neighborhood setting. They opened their first restaurant in November 1980.
Applebee's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. At Spokane's Northpoint location, the hours are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In addition to specials and combo meals, Applebee's offers a variety of chicken and beef entrees, great salad selctions, a kids menu, Weight Watchers carb counts, sandwiches, burgers, and delicious desserts.
